Buying questions
How does the trial work?
Download, open, connect a cluster. The 14 days start on first launch and are tied to the machine, so reinstalling does not reset them. Every feature is on.
What happens when my trial ends?
Kubesonar keeps working as a free cluster console. Free forever: Overview; workloads with logs, shell/exec, port-forward, scale, restart, delete and YAML apply/edit; Services, Ingress and NetworkPolicies as resources; Helm; usage metrics; events and timeline; RBAC roles, bindings and accounts; CRDs; templates; themes and settings. A license unlocks the network policy tools: the NetworkPolicy topology with reachability, rules and WHY; the policy simulator; L7/L4 traffic with one hour of history; PNG/PDF export and PDF reports; right-sizing; the RBAC matrix; and cluster compare. Activate a license at any time to turn them back on.
Can I move my license to a new Mac?
Yes. Deactivate the old machine from Settings (or from your license portal) and activate the new one. A seat covers two active machines at once.
Do you offer team billing?
Not in v1. Buy one seat per person with a corporate card; each invoice carries your company details. Central billing and SSO are on the roadmap if enough teams ask.
Refunds and taxes?
Purchases are handled by our merchant of record, which issues the invoice, applies VAT or sales tax for your country and processes refunds within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked.
What if my company blocks license checks?
Kubesonar validates the license online once a day and keeps working offline for 14 days. Nothing about your cluster is ever sent — only the license key, an instance id and the hostname.
